The foundation
To see smiling, happy faces is the inspiration behind the Dr. Ernst-Günther Bröder Foundation. Its goal is to help people in need and to create a sustainable basis that gives children and adolescents the tools to help them shape a better future for themselves.
The Foundation provides support in the areas of training and education, as well as health and social affairs. It is the brainchild of Dr. Ernst-Günther Bröder, who dedicated much of his life to such developmental aid projects.
Dr. Ernst-Günther Bröder
His life was characterised by hard work, which took him around the world to the elegant, sophisticated capitals, as well as the sprawling, poverty-stricken slums. In the course of his career, he played a leading role in international financial institutions. His compassion and his respect for humanity as a whole were the defining characteristics of his belief that helping people to help themselves would always achieve much more than short-term financial aid. The watershed experience that shaped this belief was a chance encounter with a small boy in a pineapple processing plant in Thailand.
Project financing
Are you an organisation, institution or representative of an association currently implementing a charitable project in the areas of training and education, or health and social affairs? The Dr. Ernst-Günther Bröder Foundation can provide financial assistance for your project, if it qualifies under the Foundation’s requirements. The Foundation will only provide partial financing for projects which are already in the implementation phase.
Apply for financing
Would you like to apply for additional financing for your existing charitable project? All you need to do is outline your project to the Dr. Ernst-Günther Bröder Foundation using exclusively our application form. Your application should include a detailed description of the project objectives and purpose, how these objectives will be achieved, and details on the project financing. The Foundation board reviews each application in detail and welcomes applications for projects deserving of support, from anywhere in the world.
